'Van Nederlands-Indië naar Indonesië'
is de titel van een tentoonstelling die tot
en met 31 oktober in Rotterdam wordt
gehouden. Politieke prenten, persfoto's
en affiches (zoals op de voorplaat van
deze Moesson) moeten weergeven hoe de
media de publieke opinie in Nederland
beïnvloedde tussen 1945 en 1949.
Op affiches is te zien dat men er in
Nederland aanvankelijk min of meer van
overtuigd was dat het herstel van het
Nederlandse gezag weinig problemen
zou opleveren. Politieke prenten gaan
over de onderhandelingen tussen
Nederland en de Republiek, over de
druk die de Amerikanen op Nederland
uitoefenden of over de politionele acties.
Verder kunt u foto's zien gemaakt tijdens
de Hoge Veluwe-onderhandelingen, bij
verdrag van het Linggadjati, het
Renville-alckoord en van hoofdrolspeler
Soekarno.
